Makaye Tabibi Joins IPAC's Technical Team
IPAC is pleased to announce that Makaye Tabibi has joined the company. Makaye works out of our Richmond Technical Center as a Research Chemist. She has years of industry experience in global fuels and lubricants research and development. She was most recently a lead application scientist working in a range of areas including fuels, lubricants and metalworking fluids. She also has extensive experience working directly with customers regularly, formulating custom additive packages for both gasoline and diesel fuels.
Makaye's graduate research at Virginia Commonwealth University centered on the structural impact that various zinc dithiodiphosphate molecular variables had on tribofilm formation, particularly in the presence of succinimide moieties. In her graduate studies, she developed extensive knowledge in surfactant chemistry, tribology as well as surface analytical techniques.
